Job summary

Webfleet, Bridgestone’s globally trusted fleet management solution, is seeking a motivated Student (German Speaker) to join the Amsterdam HR team supporting People Operations and Payroll while gaining hands-on international experience.

You will assist with onboarding/offboarding, payroll inputs, data quality, and HR projects across multiple countries, in a collaborative environment with Excel and modern HR tools.

Job description

At Webfleet, we are looking for a motivated Student (German Speaker) to join our HR team of 12 professionals, including Payroll Specialists, HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition Specialists. You will support the People Operations and Payroll team in Amsterdam while gaining hands‑on experience in an international HR environment.

Responsibilities

• Support HR administration processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, absence management, and benefits administration.
• Assist in preparing monthly payroll input and collaborate with our external payroll provider to help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Maintain employee records in our HR systems and support the preparation of reports while ensuring high data quality.
• Contribute to HR process improvements and support initiatives involving process automation and AI-driven solutions.
• Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement activities across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
• You have an interest in HR Operations, payroll processes, and employment-related topics.
• Initial HR experience through internships, part‑time jobs, or university projects is a plus but not required.
• You are organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• You are proactive, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a collaborative international environment.
• You have strong communication and customer service skills.
• You are proficient in both German and English, written and spoken.
• You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• An interest in process improvement, digital tools, and AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot is highly appreciated.
• You are reliable, resourceful, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.
