Job summary

nhow Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam seeks a passionate and organized Human Resources Trainee to support the People & Culture Manager. The role includes tasks focused on recruitment, internal communication, and organizing team events in a vibrant hotel environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Human Resources or Hospitality Management program, have knowledge of the hospitality industry, and possess strong English skills. This internship offers a monthly compensation of €750 and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelor's study such as Human Resources or Hospitality Management.
• Professional command of English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Proactive, accurate and enjoy challenges.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vacancy websites and adjust vacancy texts.
• Evaluate incoming applications and conduct job interviews.
• Organize presentations and tours for hospitality schools.
• Take care of onboarding and offboarding.

nhow Amsterdam RAI is a new social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolizes the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. We are looking for a passionate, organized, and driven intern. You will be supporting our People & Culture Manager as well as the Head of Departments with a large variety of different tasks across different disciplines of HR. Largest part of your internship will focus on recruitment, internal communication to the teams, and reporting. You will also be involved in various people-related projects and initiatives such as organizing team social events, recruitment events, co-training orientation training, and much more. All in all, these are very versatile tasks that give you an opportunity to learn and understand how the 'people-related' operation within a hotel works. And keep in mind, we are not constrained by traditional approaches, we are not afraid of trying new approaches and you will be given a space to shine and put your ideas into work.

• You are currently enrolled for a relevant HBO/Bachelors study such as Human Resources or Hospitality Management;
