Job summary

Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions is seeking an International Service Engineer based in the Netherlands to install, support and train customers worldwide on chromatographic systems.

You will travel regularly with local distributors, perform installations and provide service and support from our Rotterdam head office. The role includes testing analyzers and handling Netherlands-based customer service activities.

Qualifications

• Background in chemistry/analytical disciplines.
• 4–6 years experience with chromatography systems (GC, GC-MS, LC).
• Experience with petrochemical ASTM applications is preferred.
• Willingness to travel worldwide regularly.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and IT management is an advantage.
• Fluent English speaking and writing.
• Residence in the Netherlands is required.

Who are we looking for?
As an International Service Engineer you will be deployed to provide installations, application support and training to our customers worldwide. Our customers consist of end users and local distributors. You will travel independently to the customer or perform the work together with the local distributor.
From our head office in Rotterdam, in addition to being internationally deployable, you will be involved in the construction and testing of our analyzers, and service work and customer support in the Netherlands are also part of the work.

What are you bringing?

• Have a chemical/analytical background;
• Have several years (4-6) of work experience with chromatography systems (GC, GC-MS and/or LC);
• Have experience with petrochemical (ASTM) applications;
• Willing to be deployed worldwide on a regular basis;
• knowledge of computer hardware and IT management is an advantage;
• Have an independent, accurate and customer-friendly attitude;
• Speaks and writes excellent English;
• To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the Netherlands
