Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Internal Project Manager in Hengelo, Netherlands to oversee the start-up and execution of customer orders and projects. You will coordinate planning, engineering, production, and service units across multiple assignments, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and ~3 years of relevant PM experience, with strong communication, ownership mindset, and Lean knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in project management, order management, engineering, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and customer focus.
• Continuous improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international matrix organization.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and control customer orders and projects, monitoring progress, quality, and performance across multiple assignments.
• Assume full responsibility for the successful start-up and execution of assigned orders and projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Manage, monitor, and resolve quality-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with standards.
• Discuss and negotiate deviations, non-conformities, and project-related issues with Country Service Units and Sales Organizations.
• Initiate, coordinate, and lead project kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with Country Sales Organizations and Order Managers for smooth project execution.
• Review and interpret technical documentation to support production and ensure compliance.
• Serve as the primary interface between Planning, Engineering, and Production to coordinate activities.
