Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Internal Project Manager in Hengelo, Netherlands to oversee the start-up and execution of customer orders and projects. You will coordinate planning, engineering, production, and service units across multiple assignments, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and ~3 years of relevant PM experience, with strong communication, ownership mindset, and Lean knowledge.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in project management, order management, engineering, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Continuous improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international matrix organization.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

• Initiate, coordinate, and lead project kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with Country Sales Organizations and Order Managers for smooth project execution.
• Review and interpret technical documentation to support production and ensure compliance.
• Serve as the primary interface between Planning, Engineering, and Production to coordinate activities.

Working closely with Planning, Work Preparation, Engineering, Production, and external Order/Contract Managers, the role coordinates all internal activities necessary for the successful execution of customer projects.The position supports projects involving medium- and low-voltage electrical power distribution equipment, including modular standard systems and customer-specific solutions. Projects are transferred from the Sales organization and vary in scope, complexity, and duration.Managing multiple projects simultaneously (typically 5–50), the Internal Project Manager oversees deliveries with lead times ranging from 12 weeks to one year and project values between €10,000 and €2.5 million.
