Job summary

Orange Capital Partners in Amsterdam is seeking a Finance Intern to join our international Financial Control team, working closely with Dutch-based controllers on a range of tasks from tax assessments to depreciation statements and automation projects.

You are studying economics, fluent in English, and eager to learn about AI and data. Dutch is a plus, Excel helps, and you can start as soon as possible in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in economics.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Dutch is a plus.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing annual municipal tax assessments.
• Prepare and help to automate fiscal depreciation statements.
• Handle ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.

The role

As an intern, you will be fully integrated to our international Financial Control team, consisting of 8 professionals. You will closely collaborate with the Financial Controllers responsible for the Dutch residential portfolio. Your responsibilities will involve supporting them in diverse tasks and ongoing activities, such as:

• Overseeing annual municipal tax assessments
• Prepare and help to automate fiscal depreciation statements
• Handling ad hoc projects as needed
• Actively contribute ideas for automating workflows and increasing efficiency using AI.

This internship will provide you with a unique opportunity to get valuable insights into the dynamic and attractive world of real estate!

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

• You are studying at a university or college and pursuing a degree in the field of economics
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with Excel favorable
• Curious about AI and emerging technologies
• Available to start as soon as possible
