Job summary

Bischoff - Van den Hombergh seeks an interim HR Specialist in Amsterdam to cover maternity leave from September 2026 to March 2027. Based in Amsterdam (Houthavens), you will manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle and support payroll processes.

Reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Manager EMEA, you will maintain employee records, assist with 6-country payroll (~100 FTEs), onboarding/offboarding, and HR system optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• 3–5 years of administrative HR experience.
• Hands-on with SAP or UKG or similar payroll systems.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dutch labour laws is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of all employee records, contracts, performance reviews, and training logs.
• Support HR projects on policy development, process optimization, HR digitalization, and systems improvement.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding, handling documentation and admin tasks.
• Assist with payroll processing across 6 countries for ~100 FTEs.
• Serve as a contact for HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
