Job summary

Interrail B.V. is seeking an Interim HR Advisor for a 6-month period to own absence management, reintegration, and provide trusted HR support to colleagues and managers. The role requires Dutch employment law knowledge and a hands-on, preventative approach, with a preference for proximity to colleagues.

You will join our People & Culture team, reporting to the Head of HR Ops, and you’ll split time between our Utrecht HQ and remote work, with at least 3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an HR Advisor in the Netherlands.
• Good knowledge of Dutch employment law is essential.
• Hands-on experience with absence management and reintegration.
• A preventative mindset: spot early signs and support wellbeing.
• Fluent English; Dutch language is required.

Responsibilities

• Own absence management and reintegration cases from first sick day to return to work.
• Coach and advise people managers on HR questions and issues.
• Be an approachable, trusted point of contact for colleagues.
• Handle ad hoc HR tasks and projects as needed.
• Collaborate with the People & Culture team and report to the Head of HR Ops.
