Job summary

Modulaire in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to provide operational HR support and advice to employees and managers across the business. You’ll own a varied HR remit, from day-to-day coaching to policy interpretation.

Key duties include managing sickness absence and return-to-work under Wet verbetering poortwachter, handling onboarding and offboarding, advising on Dutch employment law and CAOs, coordinating payroll with ADP, and producing HR reports and KPI analyses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience in an operational/advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law.
• Experience with sickness absence management and Wet verbetering poortwachter.
• HR systems and payroll experience, ideally ADP.
• Fluent Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees.
• Manage sickness absence and return-to-work cases.
• Handle HR administration, contracts, onboarding and offboarding.
• Advise on Dutch employment law and relevant CAOs.
• Oversee payroll activities with external provider ADP.
• Produce HR reports and analyse headcount, absence, turnover and HR KPIs.
• Maintain accurate HR systems and employee data.
• Support recruitment and work with external recruitment partners.
• Identify and implement HR process improvements.
