Job summary

Rotork is seeking a Customer Service Specialist on a 9 month contract to translate customer purchase orders into sales orders within our ERP system. You will prepare and track quotations, manage order status, pricing and delivery schedules, and act as the main contact for commercial inquiries.

The role requires strong English communication, familiarity with mechanical systems, and coordination across engineering, supply chain, production and finance.

Qualifications

• Commercial or technical background enabling understanding of product specifications, pricing structures and contractual terms.
• Mechanical engineering degree is a plus.
• Fluent English is required; knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer purchase orders into sales orders in ERP with accuracy and terms.
• Process sales orders in a timely manner coordinating with engineering, supply chain, production and finance.
• Prepare, issue, and track customer quotations per pricing policies and delivery commitments.
• Be the primary contact for customers on order status, pricing, delivery schedules and inquiries.
• Manage order changes, amendments, and cancellations with clear communication.
• Follow up on quotations and open orders to support order conversion and satisfaction.
• Identify inefficiencies in order management for continuous improvement.
