Job summary

Rotork seeks an Inside Sales & Contracts Engineer to translate customer purchase orders into sales orders in our ERP system, generate quotes, and manage follow‑ups. You will be the primary customer contact for order status, pricing, and delivery coordination, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, production and finance to resolve questions quickly.

The role requires a commercial or technical background with strong English communication skills; Dutch or German knowledge is a plus and

Qualifications

Commercial or technical background enabling understanding of product specifications, pricing structures, and contractual terms.
Mechanical engineering degree is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required; knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Translate customer purchase orders into sales orders within the ERP system.
Process sales orders in a timely manner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Prepare, issue, and track customer quotations in line with pricing policies and delivery commitments.
Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status, pricing, and delivery.
Manage order changes, amendments, and cancellations with clear system updates.
Follow up on quotations, open orders, and customer requests to aid order conversion.
