Job summary

Tech Rise is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure / Platform Engineering Manager / Lead to steer a small Platform Engineers & SRE team and shape our cloud platform strategy. You’ll balance technical involvement with people leadership to drive reliability, automation, and developer experience.

In this role, you’ll own the platform roadmap, collaborate across Engineering, Product, Security and Architecture, and stay hands-on with Azure and cloud-native architectures to deliver scalable and resilient

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, and cloud-native platforms.
• Passion for developer experience, automation, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Platform Engineers & SREs (3–4 FTE).

We're looking for a hands-on Infrastructure / platform engineering Manager / Lead to lead our team.

You'll combine technical leadership with people management, driving platform strategy, developer experience, reliability, automation, and engineering excellence. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys coaching engineers while remaining technically involved.
