Job summary

Elevation Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an international SaaS platform. You will build, automate and scale the infrastructure, blending cloud, on-prem and software development practices.

Kubernetes, Azure and Python/Go form the core tech stack as you own the end-to-end lifecycle of our infrastructure tooling. You will collaborate across SRE, hosting, observability and developer experience teams, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to a resilient, scalable

Qualifications

• Ideally, you bring strong Python experience for infrastructure, backend or automation.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Bash.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
• Experience with Puppet or Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, especially Azure.
• Interest in AI-assisted or AI-native software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable tooling for managing SaaS customer environments.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads and deployments using Kubernetes.
• Build systems for deploying and managing applications, databases and network components across global infrastructure.
• Develop backend and automation tooling, primarily using Python.
• Automate operational processes and create self-service solutions.
• Improve performance, scalability, monitoring and reliability of tooling.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible).
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux, cloud, database and infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with SRE, Hosting, Observability and DevEx teams; participate in on-call schedule.
