Job summary

Tech Rise is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure / Platform Engineering Manager / Lead to steer a small Platform Engineers & SRE team and shape our cloud platform strategy. You’ll balance technical involvement with people leadership to drive reliability, automation, and developer experience.

In this role, you’ll own the platform roadmap, collaborate across Engineering, Product, Security and Architecture, and stay hands-on with Azure and cloud-native architectures to deliver scalable and resilient

Qualifications

10+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
3+ years leading engineering teams.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, and cloud-native platforms.
Passion for developer experience, automation, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Platform Engineers & SREs (3–4 FTE).
Own the platform roadmap and engineering strategy.
Drive automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and cloud reliability.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture to improve developer productivity.
Stay hands-on with Azure platform engineering and cloud architecture.
