Job summary

Elevation Group is seeking an infrastructure engineering manager to own two teams totaling about 10 engineers. You will lead CI/CD, cloud deployment on Azure (AKS, Terraform), and virtual appliances, focusing on internal platform delivery for a global SaaS.

You’ll stay hands-on with hard engineering problems, shape the technical roadmap, and collaborate on hosting, data sovereignty, and observability to scale the platform responsibly.

Qualifications

• Strong cloud deployment/platform engineering background with ~7 years of experience.
• 3+ years of leading and growing engineering teams.
• Experience in operationally critical environments; familiarity with virtual appliances is a plus.
• Ability to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow two engineering teams (≈10 engineers) working on CI/CD, cloud deployment, and virtual appliances.
• Drive evolution of a global SaaS deployment architecture with multi-tenant components and on-prem deployments.
• Stay hands-on and technically credible to engage on hard engineering problems with the teams.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and identify gaps before they become issues.
• Collaborate on cross-team infrastructure strategy, hosting, data sovereignty, and observability.
• Champion engineering productivity, including leveraging AI tooling where beneficial.
• Coach and challenge engineers to differentiate high performance from merely shipping.
