Job summary

Refresco is expanding its IT Infrastructure team and seeks a Lead Infrastructure Operations to oversee the operational performance and standardization of infrastructure platforms across Europe.

You will lead a small team of infrastructure professionals, drive operational excellence, manage suppliers and service providers, and collaborate with business, IT and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable and scalable services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure operations and 3–5 years in leadership of technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure Operations team across Europe.
• Ensure stable and secure operations of server, virtualization, storage, and operating system environments.
• Define and drive infrastructure operations strategy, standards, and governance.
• Manage suppliers and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee incident, problem, change, capacity, and lifecycle management activities.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across multiple business units and sites.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and risk management requirements.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and cybersecurity stakeholders on infrastructure priorities and roadmaps.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational performance, standardization, and continuous improvement of infrastructure platforms across Europe. You will lead a small team of infrastructure professionals, drive operational excellence, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure services.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure Operations team across Europe
• Ensure stable and secure operations of server, virtualization, storage, and operating system environments
• Define and drive the infrastructure operations strategy, standards, and governance framework
• Manage suppliers and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Oversee incident, problem, change, capacity, and lifecycle management activities
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across multiple business units and sites
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and risk management requirements
• Collaborate with business, IT, and cybersecurity stakeholders on infrastructure priorities and roadmaps

About you:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams
• Strong knowledge of server, virtualization, storage, and operating system technologies
• Experience working in complex, multi-site environments
• Strong communication, supplier management, and organizational skills
• A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement
