Job summary

Monks is seeking an Influence Director based in Paris to lead and grow our influencer marketing practice. You will helm a Paris-based team, act as the external ambassador at events and pitches, and drive cross-functional, high-impact campaigns across the EMEA region.

You will shape strategy, oversee platform selections, and partner with Operations, Strategy, Creative, Data, and Paid Media to bridge owned, earned, and paid media. Fluency in French and English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in social media strategy, influencer marketing, or activation agency environments.
• Proven leadership across multi-level teams and local market growth.
• Experience managing large-scale creator campaigns with strong governance and budgets.
• Excellent external-facing communication for keynotes, events, and client pitches.
• Deep understanding of influence with paid media, analytics, and brand strategy.
• Fluent in French and English; ability to navigate Paris ecosystem and international network.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative culture for the Paris team; streamline workflows for large-scope projects with hundreds of influencers.
• Oversee platform/tool selection and evaluation for the local team, collaborating with international colleagues.
• Act as external ambassador for Monks' Influence offering in France at events and client meetings; lead on complex pitches.
• Provide strategic support to major local/global accounts; drive innovative creator strategies for growth.
• Partner with cross-functional Paris teams to align owned, earned, and paid media strategies.
• Coordinate with the wider EMEA network to standardize local scopes and best practices.
• Educate leadership and account leads on new solutions to unlock upsell opportunities.
• Design and lead workshops with platforms, clients, and creators for new commercial products.
