Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking a Sales Engineer in the Netherlands to combine technical know-how with commercial insight, translating customer needs into practical, technically sound, and commercially viable proposals across Yokogawa's automation portfolio.

You will work with Account Management, customers, and internal teams to develop solutions, prepare quotations, assess project costs, and manage bid activities, ensuring proposals deliver value and align with Yokogawa's objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar roles in an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English for technical and commercial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and review RFQs with Account Managers.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions using Yokogawa products and systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and supporting documentation for proposals.
• Develop competitive technical and commercial proposals aligned with sales strategy.
• Support bid planning, reviews, and timely submission of proposals.
• Maintain CRM records and ensure smooth handover of orders to Delivery.
