Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Tender & Quotation Specialist to support the Transformers business across the Benelux region.

You will analyze tender documents, prepare competitive quotations, and ensure submissions meet technical, contractual, and commercial requirements. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, legal and project teams, manage tender schedules, communicate during clarifications, maintain bid records, and seek continuous improvement in pricing strategies and proposal

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of tender management or related commercial experience.
• Strong analytical skills with cost estimation and financial analysis.
• Ability to translate technical and commercial information into clear proposals.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/ERP or tender management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents and technical requirements for Benelux transformer projects.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations including cost calculations and pricing.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, legal and project teams on proposals.
• Ensure tender submissions meet technical, contractual, and commercial rules.
• Manage tender schedules and coordinate activities to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with customers during clarifications and negotiations.
• Maintain records of bids, quotations, results and lessons learned.
• Identify opportunities to improve tender processes and proposal quality.
