Job summary

A leading energy solutions company in Rhoon is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams. This role involves developing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and ensuring project success in the Benelux energy storage sector. Ideal candidates will have a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. This position combines office work with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering projects or installation environments.
• Knowledge of UPS or emergency power systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, German/French is a plus.

Are you passionate about combining technical expertise with customer-focused solutions? In this role, you will act as a key link between engineering and commercial teams, supporting the successful delivery of energy storage projects across the Benelux region. You will work closely with account managers to provide technical guidance, prepare proposals, and ensure projects meet customer requirements.

This position offers a unique blend of office-based work and occasional site visits, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with customers and contribute to projects that drive the energy transition.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal teams.
• Support account managers in developing technical solutions for project requests and tenders.
• Translate customer requirements into practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
• Conduct risk analyses, review service reports, and manage warranty claims.
• Coordinate technical and commercial aspects of projects from start to finish.
• Deliver training sessions to customers in collaboration with account managers.
• Visit customer sites occasionally to provide technical advice or prepare large-scale tenders.

What You Bring

• HBO-level education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in electrical engineering projects or installation environments.
• Knowledge of UPS or emergency power systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to think both technically and commercially.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (German/French is a plus).
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• A willingness to learn and become the technical face of the team.
