Eaton is seeking a Senior Quotation Engineer in the Netherlands to deliver accurate, competitive quotations for utility, data centre and industrial projects across EMEA. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into compelling commercial proposals and manage the full quotation lifecycle.
Open to candidates from broad engineering backgrounds; MV or switchgear specifics are not mandatory.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in quotation, estimating, tendering, proposals, technical sales or a commercial role within an engineering environment.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into competitive commercial proposals.
- Strong commercial awareness with focus on competitiveness, profitability and risk.
- Experience in electrical engineering, power distribution, or related industrial sectors is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent English.
Responsabilidades
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations.
- Review customer specifications and tender documentation.
- Coordinate technical and commercial inputs.
- Collaborate with specialists to identify suitable solutions.
- Consider pricing, lead times, profitability and project risks.
- Manage quotation revisions, clarifications and project handovers.
