Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Tender & Quotation Specialist to support the Transformers business across the Benelux region.

You will analyze tender documents, prepare competitive quotations, and ensure submissions meet technical, contractual, and commercial requirements. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, legal and project teams, manage tender schedules, communicate during clarifications, maintain bid records, and seek continuous improvement in pricing strategies and proposal

Competenze

• Must have 3–5 years of tender management or related commercial experience.
• Strong analytical skills with cost estimation and financial analysis.
• Ability to translate technical and commercial information into clear proposals.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/ERP or tender management systems.

The opportunity

At Hitachi Energy, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our Transformers business across the Benelux region. As a Tender & Quotation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, competitive, and compliant proposals that help our customers make informed investment decisions and support the expansion of sustainable energy infrastructure.

How You'll Make An Impact

• You analyze customer tender documents and technical requirements for transformer projects across the Benelux region.
• You prepare accurate and competitive quotations, including cost calculations, pricing strategies, and commercial evaluations.
• You collaborate with sales, engineering, legal, and project teams to develop customer-focused proposals.
• You ensure all tender submissions comply with technical, contractual, commercial, and legal requirements.
• You manage tender schedules and coordinate activities to meet submission deadlines.
• You communicate with customers during clarification and negotiation phases to support successful bid outcomes.
• You maintain accurate records of bids, quotations, results, and lessons learned.
• You identify opportunities to improve tender processes, pricing strategies, and overall proposal quality.

Your background

• You hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in tender management, bid management, quotations, or a similar commercial role.
• You possess strong analytical skills and experience with cost estimation and financial analysis.
• You communicate effectively and can translate complex technical and commercial information into clear proposals.
• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ideally have experience with CRM, ERP, or tender management systems.
