Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the Netherlands is seeking a Service Project Management Senior Professional to lead service projects from planning through execution and closure, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and schedule.

You will coordinate customers, service teams, suppliers and stakeholders, manage risks, and drive successful outcomes while mentoring colleagues in a fast‑paced, hybrid work environment in Rotterdam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects or complex service deliveries.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead service projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with customers and stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budget forecasts.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation actions to support successful delivery.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and results to customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, revenue, and overall financial performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and support the development of less experienced colleagues.
