Job summary

Allego, based in Arnhem, is seeking an experienced IT Operations & Service Management Specialist to strengthen IT operations and service management capabilities. You will lead ITIL-based processes, coordinate major incidents, and drive continual improvement across our technology landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, IT Service Management, or Service Delivery.
• Strong experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Experience leading major incidents in complex environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management or similar ITSM platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience driving process improvements and operational maturity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve ITIL-based service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Coordinate major incidents and drive service restoration efforts across technical teams.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement improvements that prevent recurring issues.
• Govern production changes and releases to ensure they are properly assessed, tested, and communicated.
• Configure and optimize workflows in Jira Service Management (JSM).
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements and service performance monitoring.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams to improve operational effectiveness.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents and service disruptions when required.
