Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join the People & Culture team. You will support onboarding, personnel administration, and internal communications while gaining hands-on experience in hospitality. This internship offers flexibility to explore recruitment, sickness management, and employee relations as you grow.

Training will develop your technical and interpersonal HR skills, helping you become a confident, independent HR professional in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an HR-related degree and seeking an internship as part of your studies.
• Available for a minimum of 6 months.
• A passion for hospitality and people-focused environments.
• A strong team player with clear communication skills.
• Someone who does not shy away from expressing their opinion.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus and other languages are welcome.

What will you be doing with us?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our People & Culture team at Soho House Amsterdam. In this role, you’ll support a broad range of HR activities and gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the onboarding process, assisting with personnel administration, creating newsletters and internal communications, and acting as a first point of contact for colleagues. This internship offers plenty of flexibility to explore your interests - once you’ve mastered the basics, there’s room to dive deeper into areas such as recruitment, sickness management, or employee relations.

Throughout your internship, you’ll receive training and coaching to develop both technical and interpersonal skills, with the goal of helping you grow into a confident, independent HR professional.

What we’re looking for
