Job summary

Medline International BV in Utrecht is seeking an HR Advisor to lead HR Operations for the Benelux and Nordics region. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers and ensure payroll, recruitment, time management and projects run smoothly.

The role requires at least 6 years of HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, strong English and Dutch, and the ability to manage competing priorities with autonomy.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of HR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Autonomy with discretion in HR advisory roles.
• In-depth knowledge of labour laws and legal processes.
• Business proficiency in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle for Benelux & Nordics (onboarding, changes, offboarding).
• Provide expert support to managers on complex HR topics.
• Handle HR administration: contracts, benefits, tax, visa, and fleet.
• Lead absence processes with the health service provider.
• Coordinate onboarding trainings for new hires locally.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws in Benelux & Nordics.
• Assist with payroll cycle in collaboration with external provider and finance.
• Act as point of contact for HR vendors and drive improvements.
• Drive continuous process improvements and standardization.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional HR projects to improve business results.
