Job summary

Capemay Properties Limited in Accra seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations across multiple properties, ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents, guests, and staff.

You will supervise housekeeping staff, assign schedules, monitor quality, train new employees, and enforce health and safety standards while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management.
• Housekeeping certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day housekeeping activities.
• Assign daily work schedules.
• Ensure all cleaning assignments are completed on time.
• Inspect completed work and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality.
• Train new housekeeping employees.
• Coach staff on cleaning techniques and customer service.
• Recommend disciplinary or recognition actions where appropriate.
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, staircases, elevators, and common areas.
• Ensure compliance with cleaning standards.
• Correct deficiencies immediately.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Issue cleaning materials to staff.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Report shortages to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Enforce PPE requirements.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests.
• Resolve minor customer complaints.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Prepare daily housekeeping reports.
• Report maintenance defects.
• Maintain attendance and inspection records.
