Ruby Emma is a 291‑room hotel located in Amstelkwatiert, Amsterdam, close to De Pijp and the banks of the Amstel.
Responsibilities
- take care of small repairs, touch‑ups and maintenance tasks – from dripping taps to squeaky doors
- keep an eye on all technical systems and make sure everything runs smoothly
- coordinate external service providers and keep the strings in your hands when it comes to facility management
- roll up your sleeves for painting and sealing work throughout the hotel
- work hand in hand with our Corporate Office in Munich and stay closely aligned with the housekeeping team
- monitor regular maintenance and safety checks – always in coordination with our Maintenance Manager
- order the materials you need for your work – in consultation with the Hotel Manager
Qualifications
- a true all‑rounder with solid technical skills and craftsmanship. A completed apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work is a plus – but for us, your hands‑on experience and versatile skills matter even more
- gained several years of professional experience in a similar role
- the ability to manage external service providers efficiently while staying on top of things
- skilled with your hands – whether it’s painting, electrical or plumbing, you jump in everywhere, find solutions, think ahead and keep things running
- confident, positive and have a good sense of humor – because fun is simply part of the job with us
- flexible enough to occasionally cover a weekend or evening shift
- fluent in Dutch; English skills are a plus to make teamwork and communication with international guests smooth

Working Hours & Employment Type
Fulltime, 35 hours per week; no regular on‑call duty.
