Hotelprofessionals - Ruby Tessa Rotterdam is seeking a Front‑Desk / Night Shift Team Member (Bartender & Guest Services) in Rotterdam. Start date September 2024, with the Ruby Tessa hotel opening in October 2024.

You will welcome guests, prepare cocktails, assist with breakfast, and oversee night‑shift operations to ensure guest safety and a smooth close of each day. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Fluent in Dutch and English required.
• Willingness to work night shifts and rotate.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests from check-in to check-out.
• Prepare cocktails, drinks and snacks.
• Assist with breakfast and set tables for the following day.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service from check‑in to check‑out.
• Prepare cocktails, drinks and snacks; deliver service smoothly.
• Assist with the breakfast buffet and set tables for the following day.
• Ensure the security and well‑being of guests during night shifts.
• Handle end‑of‑day closing, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Share insider tips with guests, helping them discover local hotspots.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality industry; knowledge of mise‑en‑place is an advantage.
• Willingness to work primarily at night and in shifts.
• Strong ability to multitask, remain reliable and eager to learn.
• Empathetic and enthusiastic team player.
• Good sense of humor and ability to interact with guests.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
