Leonardo Hotels Benelux in Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to support monthly reporting, period-end closings, and analysis across our hotel portfolio. You will work with the Financial Controller and Director and liaise with hotel teams and external accountants.

The role involves preparing reports, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and contributing to various financial projects.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a financial, accounting, or controlling role.
• Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is a strong plus.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end closings.
• Accurate, proactive, with a strong eye for detail.
• Fluent Dutch and English both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and support period-end closings.
• Analyse financial data to improve business performance and drive process improvements.
• Liaise with hotel teams and external accountants during audits.
• Contribute to various financial projects and cross-department initiatives.
• Travel to other hotel locations as part of the role.
