Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group is seeking an Assistant Hotel Business Controller to partner with hotel leadership, drive financial performance, and strengthen the control environment across a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts in the Netherlands region.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and monthly reporting while supporting two hotel activities with central finance partners. The role emphasizes business partnering and continuous improvement, with extensive opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO/WO level education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Around 3 years of experience in business controlling, financial analysis, management accounting, or a similar finance function.
• Hospitality or hotel industry experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and analysis: provide insight driving performance; monthly management & financial reporting; weekly forecasts and monthly business reviews.
• Budgeting and forecasting: coordinate hotel budgets and forecasts; present budgets and forecasts; monitor KPIs and approvals.
• Performance improvement: manage margin performance and operational efficiency; partner with General Manager in performance reviews; collaborate for process improvements.
