Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is hiring an Assistant Business Controller for our Amsterdam team. You will support the Business Controller with daily financial control, reporting, and analysis in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and financial planning support, while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. This role offers hybrid work, training, and opportunities within an international hotel group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance, financial control or business control.
• HBO/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hotel Management or related field.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Accurate, organized and hands-on, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with operational teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Controller with day-to-day financial and business control activities.
• Support the Business Controller with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses and monitor key financial figures, costs and variances.
• Analyse differences between actual results, budget and forecast and highlight trends or discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning by collecting and analysing relevant data.
• Work closely with operational departments to identify and prevent financial discrepancies.
• Support financial controls, audits and follow-up on identified issues.
• Contribute to improving financial processes, reporting and controls within the Finance department.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and support financial projects and initiatives.
