Job summary

MEININGER Amsterdam B.V. invites a dedicated Supervisor of F&B to lead service for breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar at the Amsterdam City West hotel.

You will organize shifts, coach staff, monitor stock, and seek revenue opportunities across all subdepartments in close collaboration with the General Manager. You bring 1–3 years in hospitality, Fluent English, good communication and teamwork, plus a structured, independent work style.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in the tourism / F&B / hospitality industry.
• Fluent English; local language skills are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• High service orientation.
• Efficient and structured way of working.
• Independent and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Smooth organization of service shifts for breakfast, lunch, dinner & bar sections.
• Hire, train and coach team members.
• Control breakfast list and payment checks.
• Ensure continuously stocked buffet during opening hours.
• Prepare for next shift and daily Mise en Place.
• Seek revenue increases across subdepartments in collaboration with the A(HM).
• Cover shifts when necessary and be flexible with schedule changes.
• Follow trainings to stay up-to-date with developments.
• Product range development.
• Perform monthly inventory stock control independently.
