StudentJob is seeking a Hospitality Staff member to join our new Rotterdam hotel as we open in October. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm, personalized service across day and night shifts.

Ideal candidates bring hotel industry experience, are night-shift oriented, reliable, and fluent in Dutch and English. You’ll work in a fast-growing hospitality group committed to Lean Luxury and exceptional guest experiences.

We are seeking a Hospitality Staff member to start in September, in line with the opening of our new hotel in October. The role involves being the first point of contact for guests and providing exceptional service across day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary guest liaison, welcoming guests and ensuring they feel at home from arrival to departure.
• Prepare cocktails, drinks, and snacks quickly and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• Assist with breakfast buffet preparation and set the dining areas for the next day.
• Oversee nighttime operations, safeguarding the property and attending to guests.
• Handle day‑end closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately.
• Offer local recommendations to guests, highlighting the best city hotspots.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hotel industry, comfort with hospitality terminology.
• Night‑shift oriented, able to work primarily at night and in shifts.
• Highly reliable, multitasking, and eager to learn.
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and collaborative within a team.
• Humor and a positive attitude, engaging guests.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
