Job summary

StudentJob zoekt een hotelmedewerker voor de opening in oktober. Start in september, sollicitatiegesprekken medio augustus. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor gasten en ondersteunt self-check-in, ontbijt en barista‑werkzaamheden.

Je werkt aan aaneenschakeling van mise‑en‑place en hospitality taken in een teamgerichte omgeving. Een flexibele, leergierige houding en vloeiend Nederlands en Engels zijn vereist.

Qualifications

• Ideale ervaring in de hotelsector (of bereid om te leren).
• Flexibel en beschikbaar om te dienen in ploegdiensten.
• Betrouwbaar, multitaskend en leergierig.
• Empathisch en enthousiast, met sterke klantgerichtheid.
• Heerlijk gevoel voor humor en gasten kunnen engageren.
• Vloeiend Nederlands en Engels.

Responsibilities

• Functie als eerste contactpunt voor gasten, welkom heten van aankomst tot vertrek.
• Ondersteunen van self-check-in en overige front‑desk taken.
• Cocktails, dranken en snacks bereiden voor een vlotte service.
• Ontbijtbuffet beheren en baristaken laten zien.
• Goederenontvangst, inspectie en opslag verzorgen met correcte mise‑en‑place.
• Gasten insider tips geven en wijzen naar hotspots in de stad.

• Support the self‑check‑in process and handle additional front‑desk duties.
• Prepare cocktails, drinks, and snacks, ensuring smooth service.
• Manage the breakfast buffet in the morning and showcase barista skills.
• Handle goods receiving, inspection, and storage, maintaining precise mise‑en‑place.
• Share insider tips with guests, directing them to recommended city hotspots.

Qualifications

• Ideal experience in the hotel industry (or willingness to learn).
• Flexible and available to work shifts.
• Reliable, multitasking, and eager to learn.
• Empathetic and enthusiastic, with strong teamwork and guest interaction skills.
• Great sense of humour and ability to engage guests.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
