Job summary

Conscious Group, based in Amsterdam, seeks an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance and administration team across multiple entities and brands. You will own end-to-end financial reporting, planning, control, cash management and corporate finance, reporting directly to the CEO within the management team.

You will drive monthly close, budgeting, KPI dashboards, and capital planning, ensuring strong governance and audit readiness while partnering with Operations and external providers.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or in a comparable senior finance position.
• Experience working within a multi-entity, multi-brand or multi-location organisation.
• Hospitality, retail or private-equity-backed environments is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and administration team and own end-to-end reporting, planning, control, cash management and corporate finance.
• Own the monthly closing and reporting cycle across all entities.
• Ensure accurate management reporting in USALI format.
• Oversee payroll processing and internal controls with external partners where needed.
• Coordinate external audits and manage VAT, corporate tax and local tax matters.
• Advise CEO on capital structure, financing decisions and covenant management.
