Job summary

The Usual, a Pan-European hotel group, is seeking a hands-on Finance Director to strengthen the finance function of the hotel management company and its portfolio. You will deliver accurate reporting, governance and strategic financial insights to support growth and expansion.

Based at our Amsterdam office in the A’DAM Tower, you will lead the finance team, partner with leadership and shareholders, and drive IFRS reporting, audits and budgeting with a pragmatic, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial and management accounting, hospitality experience preferred.
• Chartered accountant qualification required.
• Knowledge of local European GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a finance team and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and standards.
• Manage month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Oversee IFRS reporting, consolidated statements and audits.
• Coordinate annual budgets and budget sign-off with stakeholders.
• Maintain banking relationships and cash management.
