Job summary

Impactsearch BV is seeking a Head of Finance (FD) to lead the finance function and drive international growth from Zaandam, NL, with a Southeast Asia facility. You will manage finance teams in NL and SEA, act as a sparring partner for shareholders and management, and maintain relationships with banks and financial partners to professionalize the organization.

The role is hands-on with a focus on growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• WO-level business economics with Big4 + corporate exposure is a strong plus.
• Experience leading financial teams in the Netherlands and Southeast Asia.
• Broad finance scope including reporting, M&A, forex, tax and transfer pricing.
• Strong communicator in an international, action-oriented environment.

Job description

For one of our clients, active in the food industry and with its headquarters in Zaandam, we are looking for a Head of Finance (FD). The organization is active worldwide with several branches, including a production facility in Southeast Asia. The shareholders have drawn up an ambitious growth scenario for the coming years, which includes acquisitions alongside organic growth. To help shape these ambitions, they are looking for a Head of Finance (FD).

• Direct reporting to the CEO (co-shareholder);
• Ultimately responsible for finance;
• Leading and further developing the finance teams in the Netherlands and Southeast Asia;
• Sparring partner for shareholders and management at both operational and strategic levels;
• Maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, accountants, and other financial partners;
• Actively contributing to the further growth and professionalization of the organization;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and initiating optimizations within the finance organization.

Requirements

• Completed business economics education at WO level, several years of Big4 + corporate experience or experience with a renowned multinational is a strong plus.
• Managing and further developing financial teams in the Netherlands and Southeast Asia
• Ultimately responsible for a broad financial portfolio (including reporting, M&A, Forex, tax portfolio, transfer pricing, cost price models, sparring partner for shareholders, external relationships with banks and insurers, etc.)
• Strong communicator, able to function well in a highly international environment
• Hands-on, "action-oriented", able to think critically and wanting to continuously improve things
