Job summary

RoomPriceGenie is seeking a Head of UX to lead our small design and research team and shape the function across product. This leadership role focuses on strategy, team advocacy, and setting up scalable design systems and playbooks.

You'll partner with leadership to translate business priorities into a cohesive roadmap for design and research, raise maturity, mentor your team, and help embed design thinking throughout the product lifecycle, including exploring AI-driven opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior design leadership experience with ownership of a design or research function.
• Proven ability to influence product strategy at leadership level.
• Experience building processes, systems, or playbooks from the ground up.
• Curiosity about AI and its impact on design practices.

Responsibilities

• Advocate design and research as strategic partners shaping the roadmap.
• Translate business priorities into a clear, sequenced design & research roadmap.
• Define success for the design function and guide the team's growth.
• Evolve the design system and playbooks to improve consistency and quality.
• Foster AI-integrated workflows while maintaining human-centered craft.
• Mentor and develop designers and researchers through coaching.
