Job summary

Ethos is seeking heads of user research to help train our latest language models on professional documents, spreadsheets and slide decks. You will design and run studies, synthesize insights, and translate findings into practical product recommendations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research studies from planning interviews to insight synthesis.
• Create, evaluate and synthesize AI-generated documents, decks and briefs for product teams.
• Translate findings into actionable product recommendations and research-repository tagging.
