Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced UX researchers to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will own the full study lifecycle from interviews and usability tests to synthesis and delivery of actionable insights.

Fully remote, 5-20 hours per week with ASAP start. Candidates should have 4+ years in user/customer research, strong written communication, and expertise in thematic coding, surveys, and creating impactful decks and journey maps.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slides across core workflows
• Prepare moderated usability test findings decks and journey maps translating findings into recommendations
• Design and analyze surveys to inform product decisions and research strategies
• Contribute to research repository tagging and insight briefs for teams and investors
