Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced customer and user researchers to help train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role is fully remote with flexible hours (5-20 hours per week) and pays $70/hour, start ASAP.

You will own the full study lifecycle—designing studies, coding insights, and delivering concrete recommendations. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in research, strong written communication, and expert-level document and slide craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research with ownership of the full study lifecycle.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating data into decks and journey maps.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Lead moderated usability tests and synthesize findings into decks and journey maps.
• Design and analyze surveys, write screener criteria, and develop discussion guides.
• Tag research results in the repository and translate insights into product recommendations.
