Job summary

QuantWare in Delft is seeking a Director of System Integration for its Product Development team within hardware engineering. The role is full-time and hybrid, offering a competitive salary, a pension plan, and an emphasis on personal growth.

You will lead system engineering teams, own end-to-end delivery of complex quantum hardware integration projects, and manage relationships with customers and partners. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of leadership and deep HPC or packaging expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-year hardware integration projects.
• Deep domain expertise in HPC systems integration or advanced semiconductor packaging.
• Excellent cross-functional communication to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of senior technical leads and engineers across Systems Engineering, HPC Integration, Ecosystem Management, Advanced Packaging, and RF Engineering.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-year, commercial quantum hardware integration projects with partner co-design.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior engineering leadership at customers and partners.
• Identify and mitigate technical, timeline and cost mismatches with third-party suppliers and integration partners.
• Establish, mature, and scale standardized engagement frameworks for integration projects and partner training programs.
• Partner with Business Development to evaluate technical feasibility, resource allocation, and timelines on strategic proposals.
