Job summary

Rise Resourcing is partnering to recruit a Head of Quality to lead the Quality team for General Merchandise in Amsterdam. The role focuses on ensuring products meet the highest quality, safety and regulatory standards across Europe, with a people-first culture and flexible working options.

You will own the team and categories, driving technical strategy, coaching a high-performing team, and partnering with cross-functional colleagues to uphold quality and ethics across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Significant General Merchandise technical experience in retail, manufacturing or sourcing environments.
• Strong knowledge of product compliance, safety, quality assurance and ethical standards.
• Proven track record of leading and developing successful teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the company's technical strategy
• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing Technical team
• Driving technical excellence across product quality, safety and compliance
• Ensuring all products meet regulatory, ethical and quality standards
• Partnering with Category, Buying, Product Development, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams
• Managing relationships with suppliers and third-party testing partners
• Identifying opportunities to improve product performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Providing technical leadership and influence across the wider business
