Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Head of People to lead a modern, global HR function for a fully remote organization with teams across many countries. You will shape the employee experience, implement scalable HR processes, and act as trusted advisor to employees and leadership.

The role focuses on talent acquisition, organizational development, DEI, onboarding, and international employment compliance, leveraging AI to streamline HR services and support acquisitions across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years HR experience at HRBP level or equivalent, ideally in remote/hybrid international orgs.
• Experience building scalable HR processes and culture-building initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of modern HR systems to support distributed workforce.
• Experience managing international employment matters across multiple markets.
• Familiarity with employer-of-record arrangements and international workforce complexities.
• Experience supporting acquisitions and post-acquisition integration.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation across jurisdictions.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Self-driven mindset with initiative and ability to lead projects independently.
• Positive, adaptable mindset in agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; CIPD qualification valued.
• Nice to have experience in media/digital content or creator economy.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments.
• Experience managing freelance contractors and long-term service providers.
• Experience across countries and time zones.
• Experience as standalone or first dedicated People leader.

Responsibilities

• Represent and reinforce organizational values and culture across People practices.
• Lead the People agenda and act as trusted advisor to employees and leadership.
• Build an accessible People service using AI and technology.
• Improve recruitment processes to attract creative talent.
• Partner with leaders on succession planning and talent development.
• Design culture-building initiatives to strengthen engagement across distributed teams.
• Develop and optimize lifecycle processes: performance reviews, rewards, learning.
• Ensure a compliant onboarding experience including acquisitions integration.
• Develop DEI initiatives to support an inclusive workplace.
• Review and adapt HR policies to meet local legislation and business needs.
• Ensure employment practices comply across multiple countries.
• Use HR tech to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
• Support integration of newly acquired teams while respecting culture.
• Manage People systems and tools: HRIS, recruitment platforms, international employment solutions, freelancer management, collaboration tools.
