Job summary

bunq is seeking a VP/Head of People to turn the company mission into a global People strategy. You will own hiring, performance, development and retention, and lead initiatives that solve real business problems with measurable results.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong commercial judgment, data-driven decision making and the ability to scale People systems globally. Hybrid work setup and international expansion experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling data-driven People systems across hiring, onboarding, performance, development and retention.
• Strong commercial judgment, able to own People budgets and salary benchmarks across markets.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to drive business outcomes through People initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of hiring, performance, development and retention across the org.
• Translate business priorities into a clear, outcome-driven People strategy.
• Build scalable systems that help employees perform, develop and succeed.
