Job summary

Nedstar is seeking a logistics leader to build and scale a high-performance logistics organization. You will own end-to-end operations, architect scalable systems, and drive automation to enable rapid commercial growth.

The role requires balancing strategy with hands-on execution while managing supplier and carrier relationships. You will lead a team, optimize processes, and set up dashboards and KPIs to measure performance, cost, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in logistics or supply chain.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role (Head/Manager).
• Fluency in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
• Proven ability to build and scale teams into self-sufficient units.
• Strong focus on automation and smart ways of working.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Own and run end-to-end logistics operations
• Architect and build a scalable logistics organization
• Assess team capacity and upgrade where needed
• Build a self-sufficient, high-performance team
• Implement smart processes, systems, and automation
• Continuously ask: what can be improved, simplified or automated?
• Drive cost efficiency and operational reliability
• Ensure full shipment visibility and control
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and carriers
• Enable the commercial team, logistics should accelerate growth, not block it
• Set up dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking

What you bring

• 7 + years of experience in logistics or supply chain
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership role (Lead, Manager, or Head of)
• Fluency in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus
• Proven ability to build and scale teams into self-sufficient units
