Job summary

Nedcargo zoekt een Warehouse Team Leader in Haaften om een dynamisch logistiek team aan te sturen. Je coacht collega’s, verbetert processen en speelt een sleutelrol in magazijnactiviteiten met focus op LEAN principes, safety en samenwerking.

Je werkt fulltime in een hands-on omgeving met twee ploegen (5:00–14:00 en 14:15–23:15) en weekends vrij. Ervaring met WMS en sterke communicatie in NL/EN zijn vereist.

Qualifications

• Verklaring vereist: MBO+/HBO-niveau.
• Minimaal 1 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in magazijn/logistiek.
• Ervaring met Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.
• Kennis van LEAN-principes is een plus.
• Goede computer-vaardigheden (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coache, begeleid en motiveer medewerkers met LEAN-werkmethodes.
• Coördineer en bewaak dagelijkse magazijnactiviteiten.
• Zorg voor optimale inzet en flexibiliteit van personeel.
• Plan en voer interne logistiek uit voor inbound/outbound met WMS.
• Los operationele problemen op en geef duidelijke instructies.
• Leid dagelijkse stand-up meetings en houd toezicht op veiligheid en bedrijfsnormen.
• Neem deel aan de noodrespons-structuur.

Over de functie

As a Warehouse Team Leader, your day revolves around guiding and supporting your warehouse team. You’ll focus on improving team performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. With a strong emphasis on LEAN principles, you’ll coordinate daily activities, manage staff deployment, and ensure all tasks run efficiently. You’ll be based in a busy warehouse, working two shifts (5:00 AM-2:00 PM / 2:15 PM-11:15 PM).

• Coach, guide, and motivate employees with attention to LEAN working
• Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, intervening when needed
• Ensure optimal staff utilization and flexibility
• Plan and execute internal logistics for inbound and outbound using WMS
• Resolve operational issues and provide clear instructions
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and oversee compliance with safety and company standards
• Take part in the emergency response team structure You’ll work full time, alternating between early and late shifts, with weekends off. Expect a hands-on environment where teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement are central.

Wat wij vragen

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (for example, Warehouse Supervisor, Shift Leader, Logistics Team Leader)
• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Solution- and result-oriented mindset with excellent planning and organizational skills
• Familiarity with LEAN principles is a plus
• Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
