Nedcargo in Haaften zoekt een Warehouse Team Leader met sterke leiderschapskwaliteiten en ervaring in logistiek. Je coacht het team, verbetert processen en zorgt voor soepele operationele workflow met LEAN-principes en WMS-gestuurde taken.

De rol vereist hands-on inzet in een druk warehouse met twee shifts (ochtend en middag). Een proactieve houding, communicatie en teamwork staan centraal in de dagelijkse werkzaamheden.

Formación

• Leidinggevende ervaring in een logistieke omgeving is vereist.
• Kennis van LEAN-principes wordt als pluspunt gezien.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in NL en EN.
• Ervaring met een Warehouse Management System (WMS) is benodigd.
• Nederlands en Engels op minimaal communicatief niveau.

Responsabilidades

• Leid en motiveer het warehouse-team en verbeter prestaties.
• Coördineer dagelijkse activiteiten en processoptimalisatie.
• Zorg voor efficiënte inzet van personeel en flexibiliteit.
• Plan en voer interne logistiek uit voor inbound en outbound met WMS.
• Leid dagelijkse stand-ups en waarborg veiligheid en bedrijfsnormen.
• Werk fulltime in een afwisselend ochtend- en middagschema en bevorder samenwerking.

Over de functie

As a Warehouse Team Leader, your day revolves around guiding and supporting your warehouse team. you'll focus on improving team performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. With a strong emphasis on LEAN principles, you'll coordinate daily activities, manage staff deployment, and ensure all tasks run efficiently. You'll be based in a busy warehouse, working two shifts (5:00 AM-2:00 PM / 2:15 PM-11:15 PM).

• Coach, guide, and motivate employees with attention to LEAN working
• Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, intervening when needed
• Ensure optimal staff utilization and flexibility
• Plan and execute internal logistics for inbound and outbound using WMS
• Resolve operational issues and provide clear instructions
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and oversee compliance with safety and company standards
• Take part in the emergency response team structure you'll work full time, alternating between early and late shifts, with weekends off. Expect a hands-on environment where teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement are central.

Wat wij vragen

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (for example, Warehouse Supervisor, Shift Leader, Logistics Team Leader)
• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Solution- and result-oriented mindset with excellent planning and organizational skills
• Familiarity with LEAN principles is a plus
• Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
