Job summary

Nedcargo in Soesterberg zoekt een Warehouse Team Leader om een druk magazijn te leiden. Je stuurt een team aan, coacht en zorgt voor efficiënte processen volgens LEAN en houdt dagelijks stand-ups.

Je regelt personeelsinzet en inbound/outbound planning met het WMS en lost operationele issues op. RI&E, HACCP en BRC naleving staan centraal; twee shifts 05:00–14:00 en 14:15–23:15, meestal maandag tot vrijdag, met af en toe flexibiliteit.

Qualifications

• MBO+ of HBO niveau vereist.
• Minimaal 1 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in logistiek of magazijn.
• Ervaring met Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Goede communicatie in Nederlands en Engels.
• Resultaat- en planningsgerichte aanpak.
• Kennis van Lean is een plus.
• Goede beheersing van Outlook, Word en Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leiding geven aan het magazijnteam en stand-ups initiëren.
• Coachen, motiveren en node zorgen voor Lean-gedreven processen.
• Zorgdragen voor efficiënte personeelsinzet en planning.
• Coördineren inbound en outbound logistiek met het WMS.
• Oplossen van operationele issues en bevorderen van cross-functionele samenwerking.
• Zorgen voor naleving van RI&E, HACCP en BRC.
• Werktijden: 05:00–14:00 en 14:15–23:15, maandag tot vrijdag.

Over de functie

As a Warehouse Team Leader in Soesterberg, you play a key role in managing a busy warehouse environment. Your day starts with a stand-up meeting where you set the tone for your team. You guide, coach, and motivate employees while focusing on LEAN working practices. You’re hands-on in coordinating daily activities, monitoring work progress, and stepping in when adjustments are needed. Your responsibility is to ensure optimal personnel deployment, plan logistics for inbound and outbound goods using the WMS, and resolve operational issues as they arise. You also encourage your team members to work across different functions and contribute your own improvement ideas to make the warehouse run better. Compliance with legal and company standards, including RI&E, HACCP, and BRC, is part of your daily routine, as is participating in the emergency response structure. You’ll work a two-shift schedule: 05:00–14:00 and 14:15–23:15, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility required.

Wat wij vragen

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking (vocational/higher professional)
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (e.g., warehouse supervisor, logistics team leader)
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Solution- and result-oriented mindset with planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of or experience with Lean principles is a plus
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
